I am! I just… wh-why didn’t you ask me? I-I would have… I would have c-come w-with you… Why? Why take her? Another knot grew in her throat and Willow adjusted further, trying to look at him and not make her headache worse.-Ĭ-Can I ask… wh-why did you b-bring me here? Um… n-not that I’m not grateful. The knot in her stomach coiled even tighter and she drew in a shaking breath. So he did bring here to… wherever they were. I can’t… I can’t see from it and… and it’s making everything too loud and bright. P-Please? I-I don’t m-mean to ask, I just… it-it hurts. Willow heard him acutely and nodded, her eyes barely opening to look at him. A sharp throb in her head and she winced, squeezing her eyes shut and gritting her teeth. W-Wait… a-are you wanting me t-to stay here? B-But… but wouldn’t I be imposing? I-I can’t do that to you, Louis. Running off? Why would she run off? That didn’t make sense. She twisted in her restraints, still unsure of why she needed them specifically, but never stopped listening to him. I-I’m safe? R-Really? But then… but then, what’s going to happen? What, um… where will I go? She was safe, but how? How was she safe? What was he talking about? Green eyes searched blue, biting her lip to both suppress the pain and in curiosity at his remark. Her heart skipped at the mention of safety. Willow’s head ached terribly, but Louis’ face, his sharp blue eyes, were an incredibly welcome sight.
